Medical cannabis interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is our internal regulatory network, which can be found in nearly all living organisms, dating back over 600 million years. The ECS helps maintain balance in the body, regulating functions like pain, mood, sleep, and immunity. THC and CBD work with our ECS receptors, potentially reducing pain, inflammation, and anxiety.
With expert guidance, medical cannabis prescriptions offer a personalised approach when conventional treatments fall short.
